Craig E. McCoy, DO, FACOG

Dr. Craig McCoy is a native of Central Missouri, born and raised in Slater, Missouri. He is a board certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist. Awarded a Health Professions Scholarship from the United States Army, Dr. McCoy completed his OB/GYN residency at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas in 1996.  To fulfill his military obligation, he then practiced OB/GYN for four years at Fort Riley, Kansas. After being in private practice in Kentucky from 2000 to 2005, Dr. McCoy and his family relocated back to their home state, where he practiced OB/GYN for the next six years in Marshall, Missouri. Women's Wellness Center is pleased  that Dr. McCoy has joined our team in Columbia, Missouri and shares our enthusiasm for the multidisciplinary approach to wellness. Dr. McCoy is available to provide the full spectrum of obstetrics and gynecologic care.

In addition to general OB/GYN, Dr. McCoy has a special interest in female urologic health. During his time in Missouri, he has established himself as a regional expert in the management and treatment of pelvic support issues and female urinary incontinence. He serves as a consultant for several top medical companies and enjoys training other physicians on the performance of urologic procedures, urodynamic testing, and pelvic floor treatments.    Dr. McCoy    is   actively   involved   in  the   advancement of  women’s health  through research. Currently  he is participating in two
nationwide multicenter randomized prospective   studies
involving   treatment   of   urinary   incontinence.

Through his commitment to research and his expertise with state-of-the-art technologies in pelvic floor therapy and treatment of female incontinence, it is Dr. McCoy's goal to improve the quality of life and health of the women of Central Missouri.
